The Operation

One operation, every stage of the stone.

Oceania Trading Limited runs the full chain under one book of record: rough bought at origin, cut and polished in our own lapidary workshop, certified by the labs we trust, sold wholesale through our two trade desks or finished into pieces at our own jewellery house. One operation, five specialist units.

The registered office sits in Auckland. Buying runs from Colombo, Yangon, Surat / Mumbai and Antwerp. Our lapidary benches sit in Bangkok and Colombo. Singapore by appointment. One ledger across them all.

Coloured stones are placed with reports from AGL, GRS, SSEF or Gübelin. Diamonds carry GIA. Every client, across every unit, is onboarded against the same AML file as standard.

Traceability, certification and due diligence are run centrally across the whole operation. Not sales tools. Conditions of trading.

Origin traceability

Stones are logged from the point of purchase at origin, through cutting and certification, to sale. Each lot carries a chain-of-custody file; each important stone carries its own. The record travels with the stone.

02 / 03

Lab certification

Coloured stones are submitted to AGL, GRS, SSEF or Gübelin. Diamonds are submitted to GIA. Lab choice follows the stone, not the price. Reports are filed, linked and delivered with the goods.

03 / 03

KYC and AML

Client due diligence runs centrally from Auckland. One file per counterparty, applied across every unit. Source of funds, source of wealth, sanctions and PEP screening refresh annually and on material change.
